Warrant Officer Paul Fincham RAFVR, son of Rev. F G Fincham of East Preston, shot down over Germany September 1941

Capt.J R Gibbs RASC. When war broke out he was stationed in Hong Kong, after a spell at an Officer Cadet Training Unit in Bangalore he was commissioned and sent to Malaya, reported missing in Singapore in February 1942. He had been captured and spent over three years as a Japanese PoW. Soon after his repatriation he married his fiancé Jean Faulkner in December 1945.
